Intro Charity Shoot

Any sport that involves the handling and use of any type of firearm, must place the highest priority on safety.  So we will cover that first.  Safety is everyone's responsibility, and can mean the difference between an enjoyable outing or a tragedy.  For this reason, please visit our safety page.

Occasionally there will be an Intro to Sporting Clays Charity Shoot.  These are a great opportunities to try the game at minimal cost, get some coaching, have some fun and contribute to a worthy cause!  So come join the fun and give it a try!

In an effort to introduce Sporting Clays to new shooters, we explain a little about the history and variety of clay target sports, with an emphasis on Sporting Clays.

The National Sporting Clays Association has its Introduction to Sporting Clays Video online for viewing.  This video lasts approximately 15 minutes and covers lot of topics.

Are you curious about how to get started or a little nervous about attending your first registered shoot?  Getting started in this sport can be a little unsettling and attending your first registered shoot can be very nerve-wracking.  We were all new to the sport at one time or another, so we'll be glad to share advice and help you get started.  Visit our "Getting Started" page, fill out a quick questionnaire and we'll get back with you to help make your entry into Sporting Clays safe, easy and enjoyable.
